The
monotonous summer green,
like
the ordinary time of the liturgical year,
has
much subtlety to savour.
Though
hard to capture with a paint brush,
subjects
are easily discerned by sight.

|
This
monotony is broken in nature
by
easily overlooked yet subtle and exquisite variations.

 |
Individually
each Maple leaf is very unique yet together with others,
they
set the countryside aflame.

|
 |
We
know that the year is more than half gone, and Autumn is close at
hand
when even flowers, grass, grains in the field all begin to |
 |
gravitate
towards the spectrum of colours as in the sunset.
. |
Unlike sunrise, there
is something very special and endearing
about the warm glow of sunset,
declining as we gaze,
almost with an aura of melancholy,
like a tune in the minor
key.
|
Soon the world is quietly
covered by snow.
 |
With
the shortening of days comes the
Advent of Light. |
The earth is pulsating beneath the
sleeping grounds waiting
to burst into colours again come
the next Spring.
Alleluia!
